Ferrari 458 Italia vs. BMW E30 Turbo

The origins of the company go back to the race team Scuderia Ferrari, the 1929 to 1938 under the direction of Enzo Ferrari among others as a works team of Alfa Romeo drove very successful race car, without even to build vehicles. Even at those times, the still operating logo was used: a rearing horse, the cavallino rampante. In 1940 was renamed Scuderia "Auto Avio Costruzioni Ferrari" and moved in 1943 to to Maranello, where it has its head office today. The factory was destroyed in 1944 by a bomb attack, and in 1946 rebuilt.
